Blockbuster Disney’s London musical, The Lion King made its debut in the year 2000. The spectacular production by Julie Taymor is a stunning amalgamation of puppetry, live action and incredible sets. His evil uncle Scar was jealous of the new born prince and conspires to get rid of the whole family of Simba. Scar wants to be the King of Pride Rock and usurp the kingdom after killing both the King and Queen. The Lion King revolves around the struggle of Simba and reclaiming back his kingdom.

The two hours and forty five minutes show has been adapted from the 1994 blockbuster movie. However, if you have not seen the show yet, you will be astonished to catch the live enactment of the blockbuster musical. The Lion King is recommended for 7+ kids and under 3 will not be admitted inside the theatre. The show went on winning various awards including 1998 Tony awards and 1999 Laurence Olivier awards.
